SHAKE THE FUTURE OF THE FOOTWEAR SECTOR! 2020 EDITION

After the great success of the 1st edition, the competition that rewards the creativity of young people in Europe is back!

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

To take part in the competition, young people can present a project, choosing between 2 categories:
1. Designing a shoe that responds to a market where consumers are increasingly demanding when it comes to issues relating to health and the environment and where the level of innovation in product functionality and materials plays an important role.
2. Promoting the footwear sector to young people: we are looking for a new face and a new image campaign for the sector that makes it more attractive to young people.

WHO CAN GET INVOLVED?

The competition is aimed at young people aged between 16 and 25, divided up into two age categories:

• 16 to 18 years old
• 19 to 25 years old.

The projects must be presented by groups of students (not individuals) coordinated by a tutor/teacher from a school/institute/training centre in the sector.

HOW AND WHEN CAN WE TAKE PART?

Schools, institutes and training centres send in the Expression of Interest form by 31 January 2020 26 February 2020 indicating which classes and how many teams will be taking part.
Students must then send in the project documentation by 30th April 2020 30th June 2020.

SELECTION AND AWARDS CEREMONY

April 2020: Pre-selection of projects by the Jury
September 2020: Presentation of the projects during the final event at the MICAM trade fair and awards presented to the winning teams.
