The competition that awards ideas submitted by young people

WHAT

Take part in the competition: submit your project in one of the two categories:
1.     Design a shoe or piece of footwear
for students from 18 to 25 years old
2.     The ideal place to work: “The shoe factory of the future”
for students from 16 to 18 years old

WHO

Projects are to be submitted directly by a team of young people aged between 16 and 25 years old, coordinated by a tutor/teacher from a school/institute/training centre in the sector.

HOW AND WHEN TO TAKE PART

By 28/02/2018, Schools/institutes/training centres must send the Expression of Interest form, indicating which classes will take part.
By 04/05/2018, students must submit their project documentation.

HOW AND WHEN: SELECTION AND AWARDS

May 2018: Pre-selection
June 2018: Presentation of finalists and awards

“Shake the future of the footwear sector” is an initiative supported by leading players in the European footwear sector and is part of a wider campaign financed by the European Commission aiming to attract young talent into qualified positions in the European footwear sector. The competition is aimed at students that attend vocational school and are interested in an intern position in a European footwear company.
